Poems and Poetry

Dead | A Poem by Jeri Nestle

All aboard the ship to Tomorrow
It is leaving without you on it
You stay, in Today
And start to decay
Leaving only faded
Memories in your
Path
You stay, you pay
With more days
Waiting
Until that
Ship
Is back but
You
Cannot
Get
Back
On
